This introductory module aims to introduce the fundamentals of communication dynamics. Participants learn about how to make decisions together, how to explore win-win solutions in their daily lives.
Who should attend?
This program is designed for high school students (14 – 18 years old) who want to improve their international communication skills. No prior knowledge is required to take this module. The language of instruction is English. Therefore participants must have sufficient English skills.

Program goals
At the end of this program, the participants will be able to …
- understand the interests and aspirations of different parties in negotiations.
- generate options that are good for all sides.
- use the ability of persuasion instead of coercion.
- develop empathy to see the problem from different perspectives.
- be aware of the role that emotions play in negotiations.
- learn the importance of listening.
Content of the program
The program includes 12 hours of live-online sessions and approximately 2,5 hours of individual activities to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Interactive live-online sessions are organized on two consecutive Saturdays (6 hours/day). The program includes hands-on exercises & games, role-playing activities, short theory sessions, peer feedback, and debriefing sessions. Participants are also asked to complete some individual work after the first day of the program. The tasks include self-evaluation and reflection about the activities.
