Our Erasmus plus soft skill courses from Finland provides comprehensive negotiation skills training for education sector professionals. The program includes highly interactive and hands-on educational activities such as group discussions, role-play activities, and negotiation simulations.

This Erasmus KA1 teacher training course equips participants with a wide range of tools and pedagogical approaches to be used in the classroom. 3-hour online workshop will be organised for the students and parents. Involving participants from different backgrounds in this workshop would create a more comprehensive learning experience.

An inclusive learning program with school management, teachers, students, and parents enables a more collaborative school ecosystem in the longer term as well. Hence, this hands-on workshop will be co-organised with Sopu Academy and the program participants.

The negotiation exercises designed by the participants in Finland will be used during the workshop. The workshop will also provide practical tools to be used for creating a win-win-focused educational environment.

As a part of the Erasmus courses for teachers, Sopu Academy provides optional blended mobility components to enhance the impact of the training. Erasmus courses with blended mobility components provide a virtual education component in addition to the physical mobility of trainers.

Blended mobility components accelerate international collaboration through online workshops and enable more inclusive and diverse participation possibilities for the beneficiary organisation. As an integrated educational element, these virtual activities provide an excellent dissemination opportunity for the mobility project as well.

There are countless negotiation examples between teachers and students. A student’s request to extend the homework deadline, or a request to reevaluate the exam results are some common examples.

Although teachers often have more power in these negotiations, they should make sure that students are not left behind. If the solution doesn’t work for students, they probably won’t commit themselves fully. As a result, students might lose interest and motivation to learn.

K12-level teachers should be able to manage relationships with parents or guardians. This is another fundamental dimension of a successful learning environment.
