What are the goals of this program?

Get to know Finnish culture and the consensus approach closely.

Through this program, participants will learn about the win-win problem-solving approaches that are crucial to Finland’s success. They will also gain insights into Finnish culture, as well as work and study life.

Learn to win with solutions that leave no one behind.

In the workplace, at school, or at home… Participants who successfully complete this program will learn to produce sustainable and successful solutions where no one is left behind. They will be able to effectively resolve complex problems and conflicts using the most up-to-date techniques with a win-win approach

Develop collaboration, consensus, and problem-solving skills.

Participants will practically develop the communication skills they need to lead a successful, happy, and peaceful life at every stage of their careers. Through an intensive interactive program, they will expand their networks with participants from different cities in Türkiye.

Become part of an international community.

Participants who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity for priority participation in online trainings taking place in Türkiye and around the world. These programs, developed and adapted to Türkiye using the latest educational approaches from Finland, provide participants with an international perspective.

About the program

This intensive training, lasting a total of 12 hours and conducted via Zoom, was free of charge for participants. Developed in collaboration with leading institutions in Finland, this hands-on program has been implemented in nine different countries and focuses on the development of communication skills.

The entire program consists of a variety of technology-supported interactive activities meticulously designed to provide participants with an active learning experience. These activities include:

Practical exercises inspired by real-life scenarios
Group discussions and feedback activities
Self-assessment sessions
Consensus simulations and role-playing activities
Short theoretical sessions

Program flow

Simulation 1

Buying and selling an item: Participants experience a scenario involving the buying and selling of an item between two friends.

Theoretical topics: Consensus, negotiation and problem solving, building trust with fair and ethical approaches, and producing consensus focused on mutual gain.

Simulation 2

Project deadline: Participants engage in a scenario involving a delayed assignment submission between a student and a professor.

Theoretical topics: Interest-based and position-based negotiation strategies, traps in communication and negotiations, techniques for persuasion and objection.

Simulation 3

Starting a business together: Participants, as a group, attempt to resolve the topics they need to discuss in the business creation process.

Theoretical topics: Negotiating as a team and winning with integrative negotiation strategies.

Simulation 4

School clubs event: Participants experience a negotiation scenario between university school clubs and the school administration.

Theoretical topics: Managing multilateral problems, building bridges between cultural differences, and managing emotions.
