Training Process

Training programs begin with the Sopu Self-Assessment Inventory developed by our team. Based on the results of the inventory, the training program is lightly customised to accommodate the actual needs of the team.

Our theoretical content, developed in collaboration with the world’s leading institutions, is presented synchronously and asynchronously throughout the training. Participants reinforce theoretical topics with practical exercises.

Weekly 45-minute practice sessions: Simulations customized to your team’s work area provide a safe environment for transferring theoretical parts to daily life. Constructive feedback with the Sopu App mobile application accelerates the team’s development.

After the program, reports prepared specifically for each participant ensure the continuity of the development process. A holistic perspective is presented with training performance, expert feedback and self-evaluation studies.

About the Trainer

Semih Ersöz

Semih Ersöz, CEO of Sopu Academy, completed MSc. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at Aalto University, and BSc. in Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.

He has designed and implemented entrepreneurship and negotiation-focused trainings throughout his career. Before founding Sopu Academy, he worked as an educator and coordinator in different units of Aalto University, one of Northern Europe’s leading institutions. He also worked as a coordinator at İTÜ Çekirdek, one of Türkiye’s leading entrepreneurship centres.

Semih Ersöz has consulting experience in several investment funds, NGOs and startups from Finland and Turkey. He still supports Helsinki University incubation programs, Helsinki Education Hub and İTÜ Çekirdek as a mentor and a coach.

As an integration program run by the city of Helsinki, it is very important for us to offer our participants skills and tools they can use when settling in both socially and professionally. Sopu Academy’s workshop on Negotiation Skills gave us the wonderful opportunity to do exactly that.
