What are the goals of this program?

Become a leading figure in an international community.

Participants who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity to lead online training sessions across Türkiye. These programs, adapted to Türkiye using Finland’s latest educational approaches, provide participants with an international perspective.

Take the first step to becoming a negotiation and conflict resolution skills trainer.

After the training program, community leaders will have the chance to join Sopu Academy’s core team. These leaders will receive support from Sopu Academy to deliver conflict resolution and cooperation skills programs throughout Türkiye.

Participants will enhance their communication skills—vital for success and fulfilment in every stage of their careers—through practical exercises. The intensive and interactive program also helps expand their network with participants from different cities across Türkiye.

Whether in the workplace, school, or at home, participants who complete this program will master creating sustainable, successful solutions where no one is left behind. They will effectively resolve complex problems and conflicts using the latest techniques with a win-win approach.

About the program

This intensive training, which lasted a total of 24 hours and took place via Zoom, was free to attend. Prepared in collaboration with leading institutions from Finland and previously conducted in 9 different countries, this hands-on program focused on developing communication skills.

The entire program was meticulously designed to provide participants with an active learning experience, consisting of many interactive, technology-supported activities. These activities include:

  • Practical exercises inspired by real-life scenarios
  • Group discussions and feedback sessions
  • Self-assessment sessions
  • Reconciliation simulations and role-playing activities
  • Short theoretical sessions

Program flow

Week 1

Fundamentals & Introduction: Understanding compromise, negotiation, and problem-solving, with a focus on core communication strategies and tactics.

Expanding the pie: Building trust through fair and ethical approaches, and creating win-win compromises with a focus on shared gains.

Week 2

Power dynamics in problems: Active listening techniques, pitfalls, persuasion, and objection processes.

Collaborative compromise: Managing multi-party problems, addressing cultural differences, and handling emotions.

Week 2

Leadership phase: Participants who complete the program earn the right to join future sessions as observers and facilitators.

Trainer phase: Participants who successfully complete the leadership phase receive support for becoming compromise skills trainers after an evaluation.
